Raum
The Grosse Halle is a unique venue in Bern, covering around 1,500 m² and featuring an impressive, column-free roof structure.
In winter 2018/19, the Grosse Halle was gently renovated, with its infrastructure expanded: there are built-in cubes at the entrance on the right and in each rear corner. These are used for storage, and also contain toilets, cloakrooms, and offices. In addition, there is a bar located directly at the entrance.
Apart from these installations, the hall is deliberately kept minimal and modular to allow for a wide range of uses. Temporary or mobile structures within the space are possible.
